Présentation

Quatre principales thématiques sont développées au laboratoire LMMP : Les divers aspects de ces thématiques sont abordés par quatre groupes de recherche, partageant les mêmes locaux, utilisant les mêmes équipements et conjuguant leurs diverses compétences dans une logique de complémentarité efficiente
  • Groupe Procédés : Les travaux de ce groupe visent à établir les corrélations entre les paramètres spécifiques des procédés et les caractéristiques microstructurales et mécaniques des produits finis ou semi-finis. Les diverses interactions matériaux-procédés sont étudiées expérimentalement et par simulation numérique.
  • Groupe Hydrures métalliques : L’objectif des travaux de recherche de ce groupe est d’étudier et évaluer la performance des nouveaux matériaux destinés au stockage de l’hydrogène appliquer dans la fabrication des batteries Nickel-métal hydrure.
  • Groupe durabilité des matériaux :Ce groupe s’intéresse aux problèmes d’identification des typologies de transformation induite par déformation plastique et à l’évaluation de leurs conséquences sur les durées de vie en fatigue et en corrosion localisée et sous contraintes.
  • Groupe Surfaces: Les travaux de ce groupe visent à étudier le comportement mécanique des couches minces en vue de proposer des solutions aux multiples et complexes problématiques découlant de la fonctionnalisation des surfaces.
